Sandestin Gumbo Festival 2019
The Sandestin Gumbo Festival returns for its 30th year this February at the Village of Baytowne Wharf. This winter food event is one of largest and most popular along the Florida’s Emerald Coast.

The ‘Seafood Boil Kick-Off Party’ starts the festival off on Friday, February 15th starting at 5pm at Hammerhead’s Bar & Grille. Hammerhead’s Bar & Grille also features a beautiful dockside setting with live music to go along with the seafood.
The main event for the Sandestin Gumbo Festival starts on Saturday, February 16th at 12pm. You will have the opportunity to sample a variety a gumbo and vote to determine who you believe should be the ‘People’s Choice’ winner for 2019. Dewey Destin’s returns this year to defend their 2018 award for ‘People’s Choice’. The runner ups Crab Island Cantina and Slick Lips return as well along with other popular area restaurants to see if they can bring the title home this year. There will also be celebrity guests that will determine the ‘Area’s Best’.
A new competition has been added to the 30th Annual Sandestin Gumbo Festival. This year you will also have the opportunity to determine who should win the ‘Best Bloody Mary at the Beach” title.
